The bit of the poem seldom remembered:
“…sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.”
Excerpted from “The Road Not Taken.” Emphasis added by me.

There’s a park down by the river, not far from my house, where I enjoy taking walks after work. Well – ok – where I occasionally enjoy taking walks that don’t involve golf clubs. Still, it’s a beautiful place to walk and watch the seasons change. Finally change….

An older shot from last Fall. Maybe I’ll take the camera out on the golf course again soon and get some Spring shots. Seems I’m spending more time playing golf than takin’ pics, so perhaps I’ll try to combine the activities.

A blast from the past as I get ready to head back down to South Africa in May. This is a dassie – they practically pollute Table Mountain in Cape Town during the warmest, sunny days and love to lounge about on the warm rocks.

New York! In town for a short conference and hoping to get time to go to The Strand.

Finally a little life in the yard. And yes, the white in the background is snow. I’m ignoring that stuff.
